Raps Need To Apply The ' VC Rules ' In Game 4.

To them , as well as millions of b'ball fans , there is no heir apparent to the Air Apparent yet. Not even MJ's son who will enter college basketball as a walk on.
Let's examine some potential tough guys in the Raptors roster. Kris Humprey is big and mascular but he's monicker Mr. Big Sexy says it all. He's more like someone who will hurt a woman's heart than one who will grab a man's heart from his chest and stump it ! Another thick body is Joey Graham. Would a threat of losing his starting position do it ? But Graham is out already of Sam's starting 5 . Besides , Graham is in awe of Vince. Before the start of this series , Graham said ' The crowd must come out and jeer Vince. It worked the last time VC was here'. What a wuzz ! Rasho Nesterovich once exhibited a mean streak when the Raps played the Denver Nuggets. He hurt bad boy Evans forcing the Nuggets forward to complain that Rasho's action was deliberate. But against a nice guy like Vince , I doubt if Rasho will try something nasty. How about Mo Pete ? Did he not give Richard Jefferson a hard foul in that game ? Yes , but that is against RJ not VC . Don't expect Mo Pete to roughhouse his BFF . Ever. Don't ever think that Sam never instructed his boys to toughen up. The coach was one tough hombre during his playing days. If there is one thing Bryan Colangelo needs to add to this team come off season, it is obvious . A European version of an enforcer. They have plenty of those in British football thugs ... er .. fans !

The no layup rule was OK in the old NBA.I don't know if you can get away with that now.I know that in the 1st Knicks-Raptors series, the NY tried that and were succesfull.We had guys like Spree and Child then.
oh yes, Candace could really help, or Sam Mitchell going in himself could do wonders, anyway, is Joey graham starting? i tink Mo Pete is better in the SF slot
the raptors are a bunch of pansys. garbo was the only one who resembled a tough guy. i have an idea, bit out there, but what the hell:
1. dont double team kidd, ever
2. deny vc the ball...mopete's job is to keep the ball away from vince and vica versa
3. give carter a bump every single time he touches the ball
4. curl parker off two screens for 15-17 footers
5. play ford/parker/bosh 43+ minutes
6. keep bargnani and graham on the bench
7. give humphries his minutes back
The Nets will go for the kill early.I hope Sam is ready.His coaching skills will be tested tonight.I wonder why he announced his starting five change? The element of surprise to the opponents is gone.

The crowd has nothing to do with VC's performance in TO. He forgot how to play basketball. When he got to NJ, he remembered. Expect him to drive like a ferarri to the net in game 4. He's not an idiot.
Agree about Humph's minutes. He can step up huge... as long as he remembers to hold onto the ball after those boards.
Prediction man, we will win Game 5. We're just due that's all, New Jersey is still the better team by far.
I went to the game last night and the one thing that really struck me was that Anthony Parker CANNOT create his own shot at all unless it's a half-fadeaway jumper.
The same thing happenned last night.The Raps played soft and in awe of their opponents.They need a change of mentality.The Raps need Golden State's frame of mind.The Warriors are playing the #1 seeded team in the NBA like they are NOTHING.Steve Kerr of TNT said he wondered why Chris Bosh admitted in an interview that he's all nerves coming to NJ in this playoff series.Half of the battle is lost if you're big man feels that way!
