Toronto 113 New Orleans 120

The Raptors-Hornets game went to 2 extensions before the latter prevailed 120-113. Toronto blew a couple of opportunities to close the game. Mike James failed on his lay up ending the regulation period and MoPete on the first OT, missed a jumper before time expired.
There were a couple of sgnificant events worth noting. First , it was the Raps 9th O.T. loss this season . The record for such futility stands at 10. The second was the performance of Toronto discard , Aaron Williams ( 13 points , 9 rebounds ), which was simply better than any of the Raps' big men. Lastly , the super performances of the frontrunners for the rookie of the year award - our very own Charlie Villanueva ( 25 pts.,18 rebounds ) and the Hornets' Chris Paul ( 24 points,12 rebounds, 12 assists) were awesome.

Vince's Line

Vince Carter's monster performance vs. the Miami Heat helped New Jersey to its 12th consecutive wins. His 43 pts. was almost half of the Nets 90 against the 78 of the Heat.
