Toronto 111 Philadelphia 97

The Raptors outscored the Iversonless Sixers in the 4th quarter to overcome a double digit deficit in the 3rd quarter after closing the half at 54-53.
Joey Graham played comfortably scoring 12 pts in the first 11 minutes.Way to go Joey ! The surprise of the game was Martin , subbing for Jose Calderon, who had 18 pts./ 12 assists . His last double /double was during his L.A. Clippers days .
A sight to see in the first half was Pape Sow running the floor and scoring a basket from a pass by Mike James. Shades of L.A. Showtime. The winning streak stands now at 2.
Looks like Sam Dalembert (photo) has been replaced in the Sixers starting five by Steven Hunter. Its been like that for the last few Sixers games. Now if there is a chance for an off season trade , this is a guy the Raptors should go for instead of Jamal Magliore as some fans suggested . Magliore is slow . Dalembert will suit the Raptors running game. It does not hurt that he played high school ball in Montreal and reportedly expressed interest in playing for the Canadian national team.
There was a Haffa sighting tonite. He has not played since Jan 18. No points , but he made a couple of nifty passes .At the last 5 minutes , time to take out the cheese and salami , and switch to American Idol .

The opponent tonight , Detroit , should be a lot tougher than Philly. Should be a good test how far this team has improved. Last time out , we got a good spanking from the Pistons led by their 4 All Stars.
